Choose Your Arabic

Our main focus is Levantine Arabic (Shami) and its four varieties.

Levantine Arabic

Levantine Arabic (Shami) is the spoken Arabic shared by Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.

If you want to communicate across the whole region, your intensive course can focus on general Levantine Arabic and the vocabulary and expressions most relevant to you. You can study it online or in person in Hebron or Damascus.

Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, and Lebanese Arabic

If you have one country in mind, your intensive course can center on Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, or Lebanese Arabic.

You work on everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, typical expressions, listening comprehension, and cultural communication specific to that variety. This is especially useful if you plan to travel, volunteer, live, or do research in that country, or if you want to talk with family there. Palestinian Arabic is also taught in person in Hebron, Jordanian Arabic in Amman, and Syrian Arabic in Damascus.

Modern Standard Arabic

Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is available for students who need formal Arabic for reading, writing, academic study, research, media, or professional communication.

You can study MSA on its own or combine it with Levantine Arabic, online or in person in Hebron.

Weekly Study Options

Our intensive courses come in three main formats: 12, 20, or 30 hours per week.

Choose the option that best fits your schedule, goals, and the level of immersion you want.

1. 12 Hours per Week

The 12-hour option gives you frequent, focused practice while leaving room for work, study, or personal commitments.

It suits learners who want faster progress than a standard course while keeping a balanced routine.

2. 20 Hours per Week

The 20-hour option offers a more immersive experience.

With lessons nearly every day, you have many more opportunities to develop your speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills.

It is a strong choice for students preparing for travel, volunteering, work, university, or a longer stay in an Arabic-speaking country.

3. 30 Hours per Week

The 30-hour option is our most intensive format.

It is designed for students who want to devote a large part of their time to Arabic and fully immerse themselves in the language.

This option works well during a break from work or university, or before an important trip, job, academic program, or volunteer placement.

You and your teacher will plan a schedule that keeps your study routine focused and sustainable.

Intensive Arabic in Hebron, Amman, and Damascus

If you choose to study in person, your intensive course takes place at one of our centers in Hebron, Amman, or Damascus. Our in-person programs run year-round and include seasonal options such as our Summer Arabic Program.

In Hebron, you can also stay with a Palestinian host family and use your Arabic every day outside the classroom.
