Study Levantine Arabic is partnered with three organizations across Palestine and Germany. Specializing in language instruction and international volunteer programs, each of these organizations has years of experience in international community development and education. As a result of their work and highly qualified teaching staff, they have been recognized by the Ministry of Education. Below is an introduction to each of our partnered centers and their work:
1. The Excellence Center in Palestine
The Excellence Center in Palestine for Education and Training Services was established in June 2011 to offer educational and community services to its diverse group of international teachers, volunteers, and Palestinian students.
Located in the heart of Hebron, West Bank, Palestine on Ein Sarah Street – an area under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority – the Excellence Center’s central location marks it easy for international and local students to access. Furthermore, its proximity to other educational and municipal organizations has fostered collaboration within Palestine. Officially licensed as a cultural and education center, the Palestinian Ministry of Education supervises Excellence Center’s programming to certify their quality.

2. The Excellence Center in Europe
The Excellence Center in Europe opened its doors in Germany in 2018. Located in the heart of Halle (Saale), the largest city in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, the Center serves the city’s around 236,00 inhabitants with educational and community development programs.
The Center’s volunteer and internship programs attract dozens of international volunteers looking to immerse themselves in German culture and work with Halle’s large refugee community. Over the years, the center’s international exchanges and community initiatives have made a unique but profound positive impact in the local Halle community.
Beyond the Center’s vital community programming Situated directly in Halle’s old city, the Center is just a short walk away from the historic city center, dozens of local restaurants, Arabic shops, bars, and the renowned Martin Luther University.
3. Engage In Palestine
Engage In Palestine is a flagship program of the Excellence Center in Hebron, Palestine. Established in June 2011 as an expansion of the Center’s programming, its mission is to promote social and educational development in the Palestinian community. Serving Palestinian refugees, children, women, and youth, Engage In Palestine is an international hub for volunteers and students looking to study Arabic and serve in Palestine. For over 13 years, Engage in Palestine has facilitated the productive exchange between a global community of volunteers and local Palestinian communities in Hebron and West Bank.
